I came here because everyone died. My best friend My papa died. Then my mama died. I was alone on the farm. Some nice men came to feed me and say hello every day, and I told them how lonely I was. They actually took the time to listen to me. They knew that Miss Brenda had asked her shearer Anne if she would take care of me in case anything happened to her. She was the kindest, most gentle woman and I still miss her.
But then along came my shearer in big van and oopa, up I went inside and off to my new adventure. Here I met the love of my life Pearl. We go everywhere together. I have some physical problems, but she overlooks all that – she said that I have the most beautiful, soulful eyes she’s ever seen. She might be right! 🙂
