Not so long ago, life became scary. I didn’t know what was happening, but things around me became dark. It was like, the sun would come up but it was all shaded. This made me confused. People thought I was “wild” because I’d fuss if they touched me and I’d go around in circles trying to figure out this new world. Thank goodness I had Dorrie the alpaca. I knew if I was close to him, then I would be all right. Then another thing befell me: my people sold their farm. They said, “Michelle, we just can’t manage the farm anymore.” Well, I panicked and became even more agitated. I’ve heard about what happens to sheep whose people sell their farm. But … I was wrong. My people had good hearts and they arranged for Dorrie and me to come live with some other alpacas and sheep. I’ve made a good friend with Raindrop, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to talk to that short cow!
